- Congratulations to Bill Hamm, Dongrong Li, James McCarthy and Su-Yin Tan on acceptance of AAG presentation abstract, "A Foundation for Spatial Thinking: Towards a Threshold Concept Framework in GIScience and its Implications for STEM Education" (American Association of Geographers' Annual Meeting, New Orleans, USA, April 10-14, 2018)

Fall 2016 Updates:
- Congratulations to Bill (Seung Beom) Hamm on receiving the Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies Award during Fall 2016 convocation, which was awarded to only two graduate students from the Faculty of Environment (one PhD and one Masters). This award is a well deserved recognition of Bill's hard work, efforts, and perseverance. We are immensely delighted and proud of Bill's excellent achievement!

- Bill (Seung Beom) Hamm served as a Teaching Associate (TA) for the Space Applications Department chaired by Dr. Su-Yin Tan for the 9-week Space Studies Program (SSP14) of the International Space University (ISU) this summer.
